Welcome to the STAIR4SECURITY Project. STAIR4SECURITY is a Horizon 2020 funded initiative aiming to develop a collaborative platform for the security sector.

The STAIR4SECURITY project formally commenced on 01 January 2019. From the outset, the consortium was focused on agreeing a delivery plan for the first reporting deliverable of the project, common operating procedures and protocols, and making early plans for the project website, etc. First plans for the various Work Packages and how they would inter-relate were discussed, and the various partners highlighted their “offers” and “requests” for information to identify early efficiencies and quality approaches to implementing the project objectives and the fulfilment of the Description of Work.

There are four work packages. WP1 will ensure the project administrative management and the financial part including the contracting and funding of the members of the High Level Expert Group to be identified in WP2. WP2 will define the Platform, ensure its running including the participation of experts the input and output expected and define and run the needed IT tools. WP3 will be dedicated to the fitness check of the CWA process for the security sector and the necessary steps to allow a fast-track procedure adoption and propose improvement options to be adopted by the relevant CEN and CENELEC governing bodies. WP4 will plan and execute communication, dissemination and exploitation of the project activities mostly done in WP2 but also in WP3.
