STAIR4SECURITY: Project Update

Over the last two months, we have been working closely with the CBRN/DRR Community to capture feedback and recommendations for the STAIR4SECURITY platform and eLearning tool. We consider this validation process to be critical for the successful implementation of the STAIR4SECURITY results.

Feedback from the initial early alpha release of both the STAIR4SECURITY platform and eLearning tool has been looked on favourably by a number of related EU projects such as Encircle, No-Fear, Including and Fire-In. According to Tom Flynn (TFC Research and Innovation Limited) and STAIR4SECURITY communication and dissemination leader:

“The STAIR4SECURITY technology is driven by policy makers and practitioners involved in Disaster Risk Resilience.  We have engaged with them from an early stage of the project, so that we can deliver a platform and eLearning tool that better meets their needs.  We would like to believe that through STAIR4SECURITY we are narrowing some of the concerns that were raised in the recent Encircle survey report for this community.”

The platform and eLearning technology validation process is also vital in ensuring that the STAIR4SECURITY Final Event will deliver an overview of comprehensive, relevant tools that can be used by the CBRN/DRR Community.

The STAIR4SECURITY Virtual Event is scheduled to take place on 27th and 28th of May. Registration and final agenda will be released in the following weeks.
